Signature Recipe: Chicken Korma Curry
Serves 4
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons The Spice Factory Korma Curry Spice Mix
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast fillets (or substitute beef or lamb)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup passata
- ½ cup buttermilk
- ½ cup warm water
Method
- Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook until soft.
- Cut each chicken breast into 4 pieces and add to the pan. Cook for 3–4 minutes.
- Season with salt and stir in the Korma Curry Spice Mix.
- Add passata, buttermilk, and water. Stir to combine.
- Continue cooking for 5 minutes until sauce thickens and chicken is cooked through.
- Serve with steamed basmati rice.
